Following the First Minister’s announcement about further restrictions being added to the hospitality industry across Wales, we have taken the decision to close over December. We have made this decision to temporarily close, taking in all the considerations on how the new restrictions will limit what we are able to offer over the festive period.

If you do have a booking, we are in the process of contacting all guests affected in December.

We would like to thank our guests for their continued support and understanding during these times. We look forward to reopening in 2021 and excited for the new year ahead. We will keep you updated on our social media accounts and our website.

Wishing all our guests the best Christmas and look forward to welcoming you back in the New Year.

After much consideration The Stradey Park Hotel & Spa has taken the decision that we will delay our reopening on the 9th November 2020.  We are instead opening our doors on 4th  December 2020 to welcome guests over the festive period.  We will utilise this time to prepare the hotel for Christmas.  We really appreciate your loyal custom and look forward to welcoming all our guests back at either one of our festive Christmas Carverys or perhaps one of our Family Sunday lunches.

Lots more coming soon but in the meantime, if you'd like to book your Christmas party or getaway, visit our enquiry page below and get ready to celebrate. We've earned it!

Thank you and stay safe.

We’re Good to Go!

Welcoming you back!

We are delighted to be welcoming guests back from the 13th July. The wellbeing of our guests and staff are of paramount importance and we have implemented some new procedures to ensure a safe visit to the hotel.

We are pleased to announce we have received the brand-new industry standard set out by National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland called 'We're Good to Go'. This accreditation demonstrates that we have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and advice for re-opening, we have Risk Assessments in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

Our Parc Spa will open from Thursday 30th July for massage treatments only. From Monday 3rd of August we will be opening our restaurant and bar, until then we will be offering room service with a continental breakfast to takeaway and a limited evening meal menu. Meals will be on trays delivered and collected from outside of the guest room.

Changes in the hotel include hand sanitising stations around the hotel for both staff and guests to use, signage and floor markings to assist our guests to maintain social distancing guidelines. Perspex screen has been installed on reception to protect staff and guests. All staff have been trained to implement COVID-19 safety measures and protocols. Enhanced cleaning in all areas, specifically ‘high’ touch areas and surfaces.

We respectfully request that all our customers comply with the latest guidance on social distancing and please respect our right to control distancing throughout the hotel.  Any customer that is disregarding the latest guidance may be required to leave the property.

If either yourself or any member of your household are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 then please contact us to either cancel or postpone your visit to the hotel.

We will continue to monitor the latest government guidelines to ensure the highest level of safety for our guests and team members and we will update this communication if necessary.  Whilst we will be taking all reasonable steps to prevent any changes to your booking, we cannot accept any responsibility or liability for circumstances beyond our control.
