"A Llanelli hotel has become the first in Wales to be rewarded for its professionalism. the Institute of Toastmasters of Great Britain has presented Stradey Park Hotel with a professional recognition award for service in all departments.

Graham Thomas, toastmaster and treasurer of the institute, said:"We as an institute look on the Stradey Park Hotel as having the righta attitude and professional values. It's the first certificate of its kind ever presented in Wales. To receive this certificate means it is of the same standard as some of the biggest hotels in cities across the UK, including London"

The institute comprises some of the most experienced toast masters in the UK. A spokesman said: "We are intent on upholding the very high standards the profession demands."
