Every month Head Chef Stewart Williams looks at different cooking styles, local food sourcing and all things cookery related. A local supplier or guest speaker is invited along each month related to the theme of that particular Lunch Club.

Welsh Cheese (March)
Our March Lunch Club is on the theme 'Welsh Cheese'. March Lunch Club is on the 27th. The talk will be about the history and uprising of Carmathenshire cheeses and Welsh cheese as a whole. We will have a local expert in attendance with various cheeses to taste and buy. Stewart will also be doing a demo on making a basic cheese at home with some simple equipment.

French onion soup with roasted beetroot and a White Pont Gar brie and bacon crouton.
Braised steak in port and local ale with a smoked Llangloffan cheese mashed potato and
carrots glazed in a truffle flavoured honey.
Caremelised peach, with a hazelnut ice cream topped with a Boksberg Gold cheese and apple fritter

Toasted soda bread topped with chargrilled chicken breast, bacon steak. salad
melted welsh cheese and tomato chutney
Lemon curd and coconut bread and butter pudding with a passion fruit and mango custard
We are hoping to have someone from Jenkins Bakery to talk about the history of their Llanelli bakery. Stewart will eb doing a demo on bread making techniques.
