On our doorstep we have National Wetlands Centre (3.8m) www.wwt.org.uk/wetland-centres/llanelli/, the National Botanic Gardens of Wales www.botanicgarden.wales (14.1m), Ffos Las Racecourse (5.3m) www.ffoslas.co, Llanelly House (0.8m), Ffwrnes Theatre (1m), Machynys Golf Club & Spa (2.5m), Parc y Scarlets (2.9m), Millenium Coastal Park (4.4m) and Kidwelly Castle (7.7m)
Stradey Park Hotel is also a great base for visiting attractions in the surrounding area. To the East we have the Gower - an area of outstanding natural beauty. The LC2 Leisure Centre in Swansea is a great place for all the family with wave machines, board riders and water cannons. To the West there are the beautiful towns of Laugharne rich in the history of Dylan Thomas and the medieval town of Tenby, along with entertainment in the form of Oakwood Park & Folly Farm. To the North lie the stunning Brecon Beacons with the South offering the Welsh Coastal Path.
